Anya Taylor-Joy

Allya Taylor Joy was born on the 16th of April, 1997 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former Banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a Psychotherapist. Her father, an native of Argentina with Scottish as well as English heritage is also her mother. Her mother is Spanish as well as English heritage. Taylor Joy is the youngest of four brothers and sisters, with one coming from each of her parents' prior marriages. After having lived in Buenos Aires for six years, the family relocated to Victoria. According to Taylor-Joy, this relocation was difficult and she was unable to study English with the intention of returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to after she left Northlands. After that, she went to Queen's Gate School in London in which she attended ballet classes and took part in plays. At the age of 16, she quit school in order to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to be an actor. She was given a chance by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, who offered her an opportunity as a model.
