Anita Sarkeesian, a Canadian/American media critic is also a popular public speaking event organizer. From an early age, Sarkeesian was fascinated by the issue of gender identity and feminist thought. As a student, in 2009, she launched her Feminist Frequency Website. The ambitious lady planned to create an online series on the gender roles in games and was then the victim of an online campaign to harass her.
