Lisa Edelstein has been an American actor for more than twenty years. Most well-known is for her performance in House which airs on Fox. As a child of strict Jewish upbringing she was able to move from Wayne to New York City when she aged 18 and began attending Tisch School of the Arts. The school quickly became a fixture in the club scene in New York. Her shows were so impressive that the local press took note. She utilised both her musical training and fame to write and perform in a new musical, Positive Me. Soon after she was employed by MTV to present Awake on the Wild Side. Following the end of the series the show, she began appearing on television and film productions, initially in smaller roles. She gradually established herself as an actor.
