Selleck was the main character in a number of TV films during the new millennium. These included the Jesse Stone series in which He played a New England police chief. He was also director of the series and earned an Emmy nomination for his role. Selleck portrays a police commissioner who belongs to an officer family that spans generations in the Blue Bloods. The show premiered on CBS in the year 2010 and was eventually renewed. He was in the wildly loved Three Men and a Baby along with Ted Danson and Steve Guttenberg, with the comedy becoming the most-grossing film of all time.
